StudyPro Tutoring – Cancellation Policy
At StudyPro Tutoring, we understand that life can get busy and unexpected things can come up. Our goal is to work together with students and families in a way that respects everyone’s time and commitments — especially our dedicated tutors who rely on this work for a stable income.
To keep things running smoothly, please take note of our cancellation policy:
Lesson Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you’re unable to attend a scheduled lesson, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
If less than 12 hours’ notice is provided, a 50% cancellation fee (based on your hourly lesson rate) will apply.
Of course, exceptions will be made for genuine emergencies or extreme circumstances — we understand that sometimes things are out of your control.
Going Away or Taking a Break?
If you or your child will be away or unavailable for a period of time (e.g. vacation, school camps, extended leave), please inform us at least 2 weeks in advance by emailing infostudyprotutoring@gmail.com.
Ending Tutoring
If you no longer require tutoring services, we ask that you give us 2 weeks’ notice so we can inform your tutor and wrap things up smoothly.
Why This Policy Matters
Our tutors commit their time and energy to help students grow and succeed. Many of them rely on tutoring as a primary source of income, and short-notice cancellations can impact their financial stability. This policy helps protect their time and ensures we can continue providing reliable, high-quality support for all of our students.
